Sweet & Saucy Green Beans

From Kristi's Kitchen


2 lbs. fresh whole green beans, blanched
2 tbsp. organic butter
4 tbsp. raw coconut palm crystals
1 1/2 tsp. sea salt
3/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
1/4 lb. nitrate-free turkey bacon ( I like Applegate Farms brand)


-Blanch the green beans in boiling water -about 5 minutes
-Drain the beans into a colander
-Combine all ingredients in a sauce pot and toss to coat
-Cook, stirring occasionally until tender

These will be a perfect compliment to the Thanksgiving Turkey -So yummy!
